The Pilot Arc Stage, direct current, connected in direct polarity between the Tungsten Electrode (-) and the Anodic Nozzle (+) of the torch, provides for
the operative control of pilot arc (non transferred arc).Fig. 1 - Pilot Arc Stage - Connections Pilot Arc is automatically sparkled by High Frequency pulses coming from
the Ignition Box. Thanks to its high thermal conductivity, pilot arc provides energy for the transferred arc, improving its stability and strength.
