When choosing the service area of PTA  power source and its accessories, the following  restrictions on environment conditions must be  considered, in accordance with the production  requirements of the Buyer

When choosing the service area of PTA  power source and its accessories, in accordance with the  production requirements of the Buyer, it is highly  recommended to consider the following permissible limits  for exposure to metals which are dangerous to the health.

Should these  limits be exceeded, natural or mechanical ventilation mus be adequately supplied to the  service area.

After choosing the service area and  installing the power source and its accessories, it is  important to restrict the area with a danger,  precautionary label with the following warnings

WARNING  LABEL TO BE PLACED IN THE RESTRICTED AREA

WARNING:  PROTECT yourself and others.

Read  and understand this label.

    • FUMES  and GASES can be dangerous to your health.
    • ARC  RAYS can injure eyes and burn.
    • ELECTRIC  SHOCK can KILL.
    • Read  and understand PLASMA Team instructions and your  employer's safety practices.
    • Keep  your head out of the fumes.
    • Use  enough ventilation, exhaust at the arc, or both,  to keep fumes and gases from your breathing zone  and the general area.
    • Wear  correct eye, ear, and body protection.
    • Protect  your eyes with colored lenses with shade No. 12.
    • Do not  touch live electrical parts.
    • DO NOT  WEAR CONTACT LENSES.
    • Please,  apply to these Reference Recommendations :
      American  National Standard Z49.1
      "Safety in Welding  and Cutting" published by the American  Welding Society - Miami - Florida;
    • OSHA 29 CFR 1910  Standards - Washington DC.
